It is a pioneer in adipose derived stem cells (ASCs) and continues this legacy by providing human primary cell culture products and services. In addition, it provides reagents and contract services across a wide range of cell systems, including blood derivatives, adipocytes, stem cells, hepatocytes, and many other human primary cell types. The company provides custom cell isolations from almost any type tissue.

Zen-Bio products are manufactured under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Its ZenComplete platform combines cell-based products as well as consulting and research services together in a vertically integrated fashion across tissue procurement, processing, optimized media, and cell characterization.

Zen-Bio has also developed a dedicated solutions platform to assist in the emerging and diverse field of skin. ZenSkin Dermal Research Solutions encompass donor-specific tissue acquisition, full thickness skin testing and 3D skin equivalents.
