The poet is involved in the production of ethanol. The company adopts a vertically integrated approach for grain ethanol conversion. The company’s bioprocessing facility produces bioethanol, distiller grains, and other environmentally friendly co-products. The company marks its presence through two office locations in South Dakota and Kansas. The South Dakota-based office is involved in design & construction, public affairs, research, and the sales and marketing of POET bioproducts such as distiller grain, corn oil, and asphalt rejuvenator; and the Kansas-based office handles the distribution, transportation, and logistics of biofuels, as well as marketing and sales of bioethanol and the POET Pure Line, including purified alcohol, renewable CO₂ and dry ice.
