Company Overview
Founded in 1957, the JSR Corp. started as Japan Synthetic Rubber Co. Ltd. The company now includes emulsions, synthetic resins, semiconductor materials, display materials, and the life sciences field. The company produces many materials for tires, home electronics, microchips, and display panels. The company operates in 20 locations in Japan and 28 locations overseas. At late, the company focuses more on the Digital Solutions Business, especially the Semiconductor Materials Business segment, and the Life Sciences Business.
As a part of structural reform, JSR has spin-off Elastomers Business into a separate company and transferred ownership of it to ENEOS Corp. The Elastomers Business was to start operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of ENOS in April 2022.
