Headquartered in Jena, Germany, Jenoptik Laser GmbH offers solutions for the entire value chain in the field of OEM laser sources. Jenoptik maintains five divisions: lasers and materials processing, industrial metrology, traffic solutions, defense and civil systems, and optical systems.
The company offers a series of laser beam sources ranging from semiconductor material over single diode lasers and diode laser stacks to fiber-coupled diode laser modules available in an output spectrum from a few watts up to the kilowatt range.
In addition, the company offers epitaxial wafers, layer structure diode laser bars and single emitters, and diode lasers as open heat sink packages. Its primary customers are global companies in the semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry, automotive and automotive supplier industry, medical technology, aviation, and security and defense technology. Jenoptik is represented in about 80 countries with major production sites in the U.S., Switzerland and France as well as shareholders in India, Singapore, Japan, China, Australia, and Korea.
Jenoptik frequently participates in trade fairs and exhibitions in order to promote its products and increase its competitiveness. The company’s VOTAN BIM laser machine uses CO2 lasers optimized for precision cutting, particularly for 3D vehicle parts, with a power of up to 5kW. This is an ideal, wear-free customizable tool that can be used in the processing of a wide variety of working parts.
