Company Overview
GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics, and digital solutions company. On January 4, 2023, GE HealthCare spun off from General Electric Co. and began operating as an independent company. GE HealthCare has a presence in more than 160 countries and serves more than one billion patients a year. The company operates into four segments: Imaging, Ultrasound, Patient Care Solutions (PCS) and Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx).
The PDx segment is comprised of two business lines: Contrast Media and Molecular Imaging or Radiopharmaceuticals. GE HealthCare is a leading supplier of radiopharmaceuticals and cold kits for the compounding of radiopharmaceuticals globally. The company manufactures these products in three CGMP-certified molecular imaging production facilities and operates 31 nuclear pharmacies in the U.S.
