EnerSys is a supplier of technology and stored energy systems for commercial uses. The business produces and sells outdoor equipment enclosure systems, motive and reserve power batteries, battery chargers, power tools, and accessories to clients worldwide. Electric forklift trucks and other commercial and industrial electric-powered vehicles use motive power batteries and chargers.
Uninterruptible power supply, the telecommunication and utility sectors, and many other applications requiring stored energy systems all use reserve power batteries. These sectors include the healthcare, aerospace, and defense industries. With the acquisition of Alpha, EnerSys increased the scope of its business, transforming into a fully integrated provider of DC power and energy storage systems and technologies for broadband, telecom, and energy storage systems. The telecommunication, cable, utility, transportation, government, and defense sectors use outdoor enclosure products. Through its global sales and manufacturing sites, EnerSys offers aftermarket and customer support services to clients in more than 100 nations.
