The fire and security segment includes products for a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial technologies designed to help protect people and property. Carrier offers flame and smoke detector products, services & solutions to meet customers’ requirements. The fire and security segment includes fire and carbon monoxide detection, alarm signaling, incident management, evacuation, monitoring, fire, gas, and water mist suppression, fire and gas safety solutions, and industrial equipment controls. These products are sold under these brands: Kidde, Edwards, GST, Marioff, Autronica, and Det-Tronics.

In addition, the company has multiple subsidiaries worldwide, for example, Autronica Fire & Security AS (in Norway), Beijing Chubb Fire Security Systems Co., Limited (in China), Carrier Fire & Security Americas Corporation (in Delaware), Carrier Fire & Security B.V. (in the Netherlands), Carrier Fire & Security EMEA BV (in Belgium) and among others. Carrier Global Corporation operates nearly 51 factories and 39 research and design centers in over 160 countries globally.
